Graveside services for Bruce M. Viereck, 88 of Sealy were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with Mr. David Massey officiating. Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery. Pallbearers and honor guard were members of the Sealy American Legion, Charles Mock, Charles Hinze, Willie P. Zapalac, Zeke Pavelka, Joe Gibson, Art Tuttle, Robert Zabeleas, Herbert Brune and Bill Janca. Bruce Marshall Viereck was born to parents Gardner and Irene Brosig Viereck in Sealy. He was raised in Sealy attending Hacienda Public School, graduated Sealy High School and Blinn Jr. College Business School. On July 15, 1939, he married the former Miss Grace Loescher in Sealy. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army. Mr. Viereck worked for Schier Feed Store in Sealy as a manager in sales and service. He was a member of the Sealy church of Christ and the Sealy American Legion. Bruce M. Viereck died Saturday, October 23, 2004 in Bastrop, Louisiana. Survivors include his children, Ranelle Kiefer and husband Dudley of Vacaville, California, and Dwight Marshall Viereck and wife Gay of Bastrop, Louisiana; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gardner and Irene Viereck; wife, Grace Viereck; and brothers Acie and Gilbert Viereck. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
