Mrs. Frances Bock vonRosenberg, 85, of 223 Stedman St., Fayetteville, died
Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, in Heritage Suites of Heritage Place.
Mrs. vonRosenberg was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She was also
the author of "Ringtailed Panther," a biography of her ancestor Martin
Palmer, who signed the Texas Declaration of Independence.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2004, in St.
John's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Louanne Loch. A private burial will be
in the church cemetery.
Mrs. vonRosenberg is survived by her husband, Charles H. vonRosenberg of
Fayetteville; a son, the Rev. Charles G. vonRosenberg, the Episcopal bishop
of the Diocese of East Tennessee, of Knoxville; a daughter, Dr. Sarah P.
vonRosenberg of Brazoria, Texas; four grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sept. 8, 2004 following the service at the
Kyle House.
Memorials may be made to the vonRosenberg family fund, Cumberland Community
Foundation, 308 Green St., P.O. Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302.
Arrangements are being handled by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of
Fayetteville.
