Bellville Times

Raymond H. Wernecke, 77, of Bellville, formerly of Lufkin, died Friday Feb. 6, 2004, in Bellville.

Born in Blue, Texas, on Nov. 25, 1926, he was the son of Herbert Wernecke and Mary Meyer Wernecke.

His parents preceded him in death as did his wife, Velma A. Wernecke on Aug. 9, 1998, one son, James Ray Wernecke; brother, Bobby Wernecke and his wife, Hattie; and brother-in-law, Al Frels.

He is survived by his son, Gerald Wernecke and wife Pat; two daughters, Deborah K. Biehle and husband Martin and Patricia A.
