Monroe Louis Wienecke, 99, a lifelong resident of Bellville, passed away
Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004 in a Bellville nursing facility.
Born July 5, 1905, Monroe was the son of William and Bertha (Luhn) Wienecke.
He was baptized Oct. 15, 1905 at Broomtown and confirmed at St. John
Lutheran Church in Bellville on May 20, 1923.
On Nov. 10, 1935, he was united in marriage with Alwina Zander at St. John.
They made their home outside of Bellville on the farm until 1957 when they
moved in town. Alwina preceded Monroe in death on May 27, 2000.
Monroe was a member of the Coshatte Agricultural Society and Bellville
