Funeral services for Joe Wiktorik, 65, of Bellville, were held Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at 10 a.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Wayne Middleton officiating. Interment was at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near Bellville. Serving as pallbearers were Ricki Wendt, Bruce Wendt, Neil Wendt, Mike Newman, Terry Wiktorik and Gary Wiktorik. Born in Iowa Colony, Joseph Arnold Wiktorik, Jr. was the son of Joseph Arnold Wiktorik and Clara Marie Pfeffer. He was raised in the Stafford area and attended the Missouri City Public Schools. Joe moved to Bellville in 1947. He served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. Joe was a member of Bellville United Methodist Church and a member of the Bellville Volunteer Fire Department. He worked as a plumber's and electrician's helper. Joe Jr. enjoyed painting, working with wood and metal. Joseph Arnold Wiktorik, Jr. died Dec. 6, 2004 in Bellville. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Etta Mae and Eugene Himly of Sealy, Rosiele and Henry Newman of Bellville; sister-in-law, Dottie Wiktorik; two nieces, Sherry Welty and Patsy Ellis; six nephews, Riki, Bruce and Neil Wendt, Mike Newman, and Terry and Gary Wiktorik; and a number of cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Clara Wiktorik; and his brother, Otto Wiktorik. Memorial contributions may be made to Bellville United Methodist Church, P.O.
