Allbritton

Ernest Roy Allbritton was born on August 28, 1939 in Houston and went to be
with The Lord, June 21 at the age of 65.
He was a well known Bellville High School English and Spanish instructor in
the 1960s.
Ernie is survived by his mother, Lois Allbritton Weiss; a nephew, Lois
Allbritton Weiss; a nephew, Bobby Allbritton and his wife, Traci; their
children, Katie and Chase and many friends and business associates. He
retired from CNA Insurance Co. in 2001.
After retirement, Ernie was actively involved in teaching computer classes
at the Houston Community Center for retired seniors. As a young man he
taught in the Bellville and Pearland School Districts. Ernie loved southern
gospel and contemporary Christian music and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He
will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Services were conducted June 23 in the Family Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale
Funeral Home which handled proceedings.
