Grave side services for Hubert Lee Frank, 83, of Bryan, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2006 with the Rev. Bob Gribble officiating. He died Sunday, May 28, 2006 in Bryan, Texas with his family by his side. Born in Bellville, Hubert was the son of Arno Frank and Norma Mewis Frank. He graduated from Bellville High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. On June 19, 1944, Mr.. Frank and the former Miss Nettie Lubojasky were married with ceremony held in Bellville. He was of Episcopal Faith. Mr. Frank owned and operating A.E. Frank Red & White Grocery and the City Confectionery in Bellville. He is survived by his wife of 51 years -- Nettie Frank of Bryan; daughter -- Melissa Frank-Hightower and husband Mike of Bryan; son -- Blake Frank and wife Julia of Dallas; sisters -- Irma Jane Lubojasky of Bellville; Bernice Blume of Kenney; Maxine Dickehut of Rosenberg; brother -- Arno Frank II and wife, Joyce of Pflugerville, Texas; and grandson Aaron Paul Frank. He was preceded in death by his parents -- Arno and Normal Frank. Service by Knesek Family Funeral Chapels. Posted by Joy Neely
