Funeral Services for Joseph "PaPa Joe" Jalufka, 65, of Sealy, were held Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at 2 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Highway 36 Chapel in Sealy with the Rev. Bernard Snock officiating. Born in Shiner, Joseph was the son of Tom and Mary Jalufka. He was raised in Shiner and Hallettsville and graduated from Shiner High School. On July 29, 1961, Mr. Joseph Jalufka was joined in marriage to the former Miss Shirley Jaco with a ceremony held in Hallettsville. Joe worked as a foreman in utility construction. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Joseph "PaPa Joe" Jalufka passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 in Sealy. Survived by his wife, Shirley Jalufka of Sealy; daughters Candy Frady and husband Norman of Sealy, Kimberly McGinley of Brenham, Krisha Langton and husband Cliff of Sealy; sons, Terry Jalufka and wife Marie of Sealy, Rodney Jalufka of Wallis; sisters Lillie Beyer and Kenneth Kaiser of Moulton, Angie Richter and husband Roy of Flatonia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Cathy and Tim Landry, Sonny and Natalie Tobola; grandchildren Blayne Babik, Blyss McGinley, Sarah Jalufka, Blake Jalufka, Kurt Hawes, Collin Hawes, Cade Langton, Reed Langton, Lauren Jalufka, Jake Frady, Tyler Bryd and Caylee Geller and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mary Jalufka. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 4781 S. Main, Stafford, Texas 77477.
