Funeral services for Judy Jones, 62, of Simonton, TX were conducted Monday, August 21, 2006, at Simonton Community Church with the Rev. Steve Littlefield officiating. Graveside Services were at 3 p.m. at the Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena. Mrs. Jones died Thursday, August 17, 2006 in Wallis, TX. Born in LaGrange, Judy was the daughter of Alvin and Mazie (Hatfield) Lueders. She was raised in Pasadena and graduated from Pasadena High School. She attended San Jacinto Junior College. The former Judy Lueders was joined in marriage to Mr. Robert C. Jones on June 8, 1963 with a ceremony in Houston. Mrs. Jones was a people person and her business thrived because of it. She never met a stranger and she had many friends. Judy and Robert were among the founders of Simonton Community Church in Simonton. She is survived by her husband -- Robert C. Jones of Simonton; father -- C.C. Leifeste of Livingston; daughters -- Barbara Dibala and husband James of Wallis; Katherine Coffey of Katy; and Maryann Whitcher and husband Ken of Katy; son -- Gregory Scott Jones and wife Amie of Katy; sister -- Deborah O' Quinn of Houston; brother -- Douglas Leifeste and Beth of Palestine; grandchildren -- Brian and Eric Dibala; Julie Taber and husband Jacob; Elaine Redman and husband Jason; Courtney and Michael Jones; great-grandchildren, Topaz Elizabeth, Ethan Riley and Brookelyn Renee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mazie Leifeste; father -- Alvin Lueders; and brother, Michael Leifeste. Serving as pallbearers were Brian Dibala, Scottie Schultz, Dennis Hauer, Toby Pullig, Rocky Emery, Hank Emery and Eric Wensel. Honoary pallbearers were Lance Sims, Steve Godel, Eric Dibala, Jean Harbers, Courtney Jones, Michael Jones, Julie Taber, Elaine Redman, Mike Sharp, Dave Hubbert, Ralph Gustafson, Sam Cruise and Bob Sandefur.
