Carol Jorgensen, 55, died Oct. 29 of complications from multiple myeloma at a nursing home in Albuquerque, N.M. Born Oct. 19, 1951 in Lubbock, she first moved to Bellville in 1974 and lived there with her family for 10 years. Her husband's company transferred them to Flagstaff, Ariz. in 1984. Following her divorce, she returned to Bellville in 1993 and returned to Bellville Tube as a bookkeeper. Shortly before her death, she had moved to Albuquerque to be closer to her daughters. Surviving are her son Tom Jorgensen, and wife Pam, grandchildren Alex and Kate Jorgensen, all of Centreville, Va.; daughter Tonya Griego, and husband Jeff, grandchildren Justin Jorgensen, Jared and Jacob Griego; daughter Shanna Jorgensen and grandchildren Meagen and Amanda Florence and Deeson Jorgensen, all of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother Mike Hollis and wife Tina; sister Nancy Krumrey and husband Jerry, all of Bellville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Joyce Hollis, of Bellville; and her brother Robert Bruce. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 11 at The Sheperd's Way Church in Sealy, with Pastor Frank Lucas officiating.
