Frances Irene Killen, 82, passed away Friday, April 21, 2006 in Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Owens and Brumley Chapel with Vicor Jeremiah Heydt officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Frances was born Sept. 21, 1923 in Atlanta, Texas to Homer Elbert and Willie Geraldine Jackson. She married Floyd Lincoln Killen, Sr. on May 29, 1948 in Shreveport, La. She was the former Director of Nursing at Wichita General School of Nursing, the former Director of the WFISD School of Vocational Nursing, and the Wichita General Consultant of Patient Care Services. Frances was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother and friend to many. She will be missed by all who loved her. Frances is survived by a daughter, Celia Kincaid and her husband, Douglas of Bellville, Texas; a son, Floyd L. Killen of Wichita Falls; and a sister, Dora Alice Jackson of Atlanta, Texas. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Wichita Falls. Visitation was held from 56 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home. Posted by Joy Neely
