Bellville Times

Funeral services for Zulema Martinez, 62, of Bellville, were held Friday,
June 23, 2006 at 2 p.m. from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic church in
Bellville with the Rev. James Burkart celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite
of Committal. Interment was at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville.
She died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 in Brookshire.
Pallbearers were Ted Aguilar, Noe Sanchez, Jimmy Ceballos, Joe Ceballos and
Rafael Ceballos and Alfredo Govea.
Born in Seguin, Zulema was the daughter of Manuel and Anselma (Obregon)
Aguilar. She was raised in Seguin, and attended school in Seguin.
Zulema worked as a nurse's aide at a nursing home. Zulema Aguilar was
married to Armando Martinez. She was of Catholic faith.
She is survived by her husband Armando Martinez of Bellville; father of her
children Abelardo Ceballos;  children and spouses, Joe and Janice Ceballos
of Bellville, Jim and Karen Ceballos of Bellville, Mary and Lorenzo Juarez
of Big Spring, Texas, Greg Ceballos of Bellville, Amalia Ceballos of
Bellville, Delfina and No Sanchez of Bellville, Ralph and Billie Jo Ceballos
of Bellville, Michelle Velasquez of Bellville; brothers, sisters and their
spouses, Esperanza Aguilar of San Antonio, Robert and Susan Aguilar of
Brenham, Ted and Shirley Aguilar of Round Rock, Alicia and Robert Blaine of
Austin, Mary and Jerry Young of Dallas and Louis Aguilar of Alexandria,
W.V.; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Anselma Aguilar and
granddaughter Kimberly Ceballos.
Arrangements under the direction of Knesek Bros. of Bellville.
