Bellville Times Funeral services for Charles V. Mlcak, 90, of Frydek, were held Friday, May 5, 2006 from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek, at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Bernard Snock celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal. Interment was at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Frydek. He died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in Katy. Born in Frydek, Charles was the son of Frank and Antonio (Belunek) Mlcak. He was raised in Frydek, and attended Frydek Public Schools. He worked as a maintenance worker in the Warehousing Business in Galveston. Charles V. Mlcak married the former Miss Julie Petrash 60 years ago on July 3, 1944 with ceremony held from St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Galveston. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles. Charles and Julie lived in Galveston for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Julie Mlcak of Frydek, son Melvin Mlcak and wife Debby of Katy; grandchildren Ryan Mlcak and wife Lisa of San Antonio;and great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Liliana Mlcak. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Antonio Mlcak and his brother Fred Mlcak. Pallbearers serving were Ryan, Dennis, Clement, Kenneth, Ronnie and Johnny Mlcak. Posted by Joy Neely |
