Funeral services for Ladislav Ovesny, Jr., 47, of East Bernard, were
conducted Friday, April 21, 2006 from Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sealy
with the Rev. Don Ruppert celebrating the funeral mass and rite of
committal. Interment was in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving were Randy Matula, Santley Michulka, Price J. Sewell and
Raymond Matula.
Born in East Bernard, Ladislav was the son of Ladislav and Rosalie (Hlozek)
Ovesny. He was raised in East Bernard and attended East Bernard Schools. He
worked unloading trucks for a grain dryer. Ladislav Ovesny, Jr.. died
Monday, April 17, 2006 in Houston.
He is survived by his sisters: Helen Ovensy Matula and Raymond of Wallis;
and Linda Sewell and husband Price of Kendelton; and brother Charlie Ovesny
and wife, Sylvia of Pasadena.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ladislav and Rosalie Ovesny and brother,
Larry Ovesny.
