Funeral services for Clarence Wayne Rosniak, 45, of Wallis, were held Friday, June 23, 2006 at 10 a.m. from Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis with the Rev. Richard Johnston celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Wallis. He died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 after battling cancer. Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Christoferson, Michael Holub, Ben Jaloway, Daniel Jaloway, Patrick Jaloway and Cody Koy. Honorary pallbearers were Jeremiah Hubbard, Daniel Jurecek and Douglas Lippitt. Born in East Bernard, Clarence was the son of Johnnie Rosniak, Sr., and Marie Wleczyk Rosniak. He graduated from Brazos High School. On June 26, 1997, Clarence and the former Miss Joan Marie Jaloway were married with ceremony held in Wallis. He worked as a machine operator doing fiberglass fabrication. Survived by his wife Joan Rosniak of Wallis; brothers -- Lawrence Rosniak and wife Linda of East Bernard; Albert Rosniak and wife Lavern of Wallis; and Johnnie Rosniak Jr. of Wharton. Clarence also leaves behind nephews, nieces, stepdaughters and one step-granddaughter. Preceded in death by his parents -- Johnnie Sr and Marie Rosniak, and one brother, Andrew Rosniak.
