Graveside services for Elefrieda Schaffner, 98, of Bellville, were held Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 3 p.m. from Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville with the Rev. Bob Gribble officiating. Born in Kenney, Texas, Elefrieda was the daughter of Max and Maria (Haffelfinger) Schaffner. She was a lifelong homemaker and of Christian faith. Elefrieda was very talented; she crocheted many beautiful pieces, enjoyed making quilts and growing flowers. Elefrieda Schaffner died Thursday, March 16, 2006 in Bellville. She is survived by her nieces, Mary Deats and husband Eddie of Cat Spring, Fay Reznicek of Cat Spring, Dianna Cauthen of Highlands, great nieces and great nephews, Connie Youngblood and husband Aaron of Cat Spring, David Reznicek and wife, Lydia, of Cat Spring, and Randy, Andy and Rusty Cauthen of Highlands, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents, Max and Maria Schaffner, six sisters and three brothers and two nephews. Funeral services were under direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels Posted by Joy Neely
