Funeral services for Adelle Josephine Kovasovic Schneider, 84, were held Aug. 2, 2006 at 10 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with the Rev. Octavio Muguerza celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of committal. Pallbearers serving were Chris Corder, Roger Crosswhite, Buddy McShan, Adolph Kovasovic Jr., Robert Lancon Jr., and Matthew Schneider. Adelle was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Adelle Josephine Kovasovic Schneider went to be with her Lord and Savior July 30, 2006 in Houston. Adelle was born in Mixville May 26, 1922 to Joseph Kovasovic and Josephine Valerian Kovasovic. She was married in 1946 to Johnnie Schneider. They made their home in Sealy, where they raised their five children. Adelle loved her family with her whole heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Charlene, brothers Adolph, Eddie and infant brother Joseph; and sisters Albina Lancon Poenitzsch and Bessie Wasicek. She is survived by her husband Johnnie Schneider of Sealy; sons John Schneider and wife Connie of Houston, Billy Schneider and wife Pam of Sealy; daughter Cindy Corder and husband Rick of Sealy and son Joey Schneider and wife Robin of Sealy; grandchildren Tracey Simonds, Shelley Schneider, Matthew Schneider and wife Angel, Chris and Cacey Corder, and Brooke Schneider and great grandson Tyler Simonds. Adelle was a long-time supporting member of the Catholic Funeral Guild, AARP, Sealy Garden Club, Good Samaritan volunteers, KJZT, SPJST and Milllheim Harmonie Verein. One other favorite pastimes was cooking delicious meals and sharing recipes with her family and friends. She had a full, rich and long life, and she blessed all who knew her with her fun-loving spirit and kind heart. Her faith in Jesus was firm to the end. Her family is thankful for her life of love, joy, faithfulness to family and friends. She showed kindness, love and wisdom through all her years, and she will be missed dearly.
