Funeral services for Robert Lee Schroeder, 55, of Bellville, were held at 2
p.m. Monday, June 26, 2006, from the Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in
Bellville with the Rev. David Henske and Jennie Jones officiating.
Interment was at National Cemetery in Nelsonville.
Mr. Schroeder  died Thursday, June 22, 2006 in Bellville.
Born in Bellville, Robert was the son of Robert and Edna Thresa (Krause)
Schroeder. 
He was raised in Bellville and graduated from Bellville High School in 1969.
He worked at Blue Bell Creameries in Brenham and was a member of the St.
John Lutheran Churchin Bellville.
He is survived by his children -- Stacy Skoruppa and husband Mark of La
Grange; Ryan Schroeder of Caldwell; and Christopher Schroeder of Brenham;
brother Larry Schroeder and wife Betty of Humble;  step-mother, Hildegard
Schroeder of Sugar Land; nephew Joseph Schroeder of Katy; and niece, Jill
Schroeder and husband Kevin Ryan Melesky of Humble; three grandchildren and
numerous relatives and friends.
He was pPreceded in death by  parents -- Robert and Edna Schroeder; brother,
David Schroeder; and niece Lisa Schroeder.
Pallbearers for the service were Kevin Ryan Melesky, Joseph Schroeder, Ryan
Schroeder, Mark Skoruppa and Christopher Schroeder.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 520 N.
Holland, Bellville, TX 77418.
