Bellville Times

Funeral service for Michael Lee Smith, 53, of Kenney, Texas were held on
Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 2 p.m. from Riverwood Family Funeral Services in
Brookhaven, Mississippi. Interment will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church
Cemetery in Brook haven, Miss.
He died on Saturday, March 4, 2006 in Brenham, Texas.
Born in Amarillo, TX, Michael was the son of Winfred Pete and Glyndel
(Thrasher) Smith. He was raised in Brookhaven and graduated from Brookhaven
High School.
Michael worked in the petroleum industry. He was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Bellville, Texas.
Smith is survived by his sons, Mason Landon Smith of Mississippi; and Judson
Noal Smith of College Station; their mother, Renae Crosby Smith of Flowood,
Miss.; sisters, Judy Nell Smith of Hawaii; Dixie Shannon of Houston; and
Linda Jacobs of California.
He was preceeded in death by his parents Winfred and Clyndel Smith.

Arrangements were under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels in
Bellville.
