Delores, as she was called by many who knew her best, was born on Oct. 28, 1917 in Orchard to Nicholas and Refugio Velasquez. In 1927 she and her family moved to Bellville where on June 16, 1940 she married the love of her life Charlie Acebo. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, and her brothers Emilio, Benjamin and Ascension. She is survived by her brother Mike Velasquez of LaMarque Texas, sons Charlie Acebo Jr. and wife Gail of Houston, Texas; Roy Acebo and wife Linda of Bellville, Texas; Richard Acebo and wife Peggy of Bellville, Texas, and Robert Acebo and wife Vickie of Bellville, Texas. Grandchildren: Denise, Debbie, Tracey, Christine, Kimberley, Jennifer, Rick, Jason, Bobby and Susie. Great Grandchildren: Parker, Tanner John, Ryan, Katie, Aiden, Gunner, Cade, Jay Leigh, and Julia: and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores never met a stranger, she loved shopping, and working in her flower beds, planting and watering her garden, feeding and caring for her parakeet. Her greatest love was her Lord, her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her tortillas made from scratch, will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have one. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bellville. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, mother in-law, grandmother and sister-in-law. We thank God for letting us be a special part of her life on this earth, and we all look forward to being reunited with her someday in heaven.
