Bryant On October 6, 1960, the sun rose for a baby boy to Johnnie Lee Bryant, Sr. and Jeanette House. They named him Dwayne Eddie Bryant. He grew up in the Oil Field Community of Austin County where he attended Union Center Elementary School. He attended Bellville High School and graduated in May 1979. He was very active in football and track. In 1977, he was a part of the Bellville Brahma State Finalist Football and track team. He also was a down to earth person with a big heart always loud and laughing. He attended Sunday School at Richard Grove United Methodist Church. After graduation, he stayed in the Bellville and Oil Field community area, where he lived until his death. He confessed a hope in Christ and united with Pleasant Grove Baptist church in Ives Creek, Texas. Early Friday morning, December 7th 2007, his Father called him home and he went to Him and joined his father, Johnnie Lee Bryant Sr., his brother, Johnnie Lee Bryant Jr., grandparents, Mr. Levi Bryant, Sr., Ruth Bryant, Walter House and Mae Ola Bevins, his uncle, Levi Bryant, Jr., S.J. Bryant, Erma Bryant, and Melvin Bevins, and his aunt Nevada Bryant and other loving family members. His Heavenly home going has brought sadness to his mother, Jeanette Hutchingson of Bellville, Texas; his son: Kelvin Deon Jackson (Stefanie) of Bellville, Texas, daughter: Michaela Jackson ³Jeanette Ruth² of Katy, Texas; stepmother, Rose Bryant of Humble, Texas; four sisters: Tracy and Anissa Bryant, Demetri and Sherronica Ward all of Humble, Texas; one brother: Marlon D. Ward of Houston, Texas; aunts: Evangelist Rose Gertman of Houston, Texas, Bonnie Reese of Bellville, Texas, Lee Etta Bryant, Anner Ruth Garfield, Teretta Johnson, all of Houston, and Shirley Harper (James) of Stafford, Virginia; uncles: Allen Madison, Timothy Bryant both of Houston, Texas, Wesley Bryant of Bellville and Mircle Bryant ³Ole Man² of Hempstead, Texas; nephew: Cameron Ward; niece: Chasity Ward both of Humble, Texas; grandson: Kelvin Deon Jackson ³KJ² of Bellville; special friend: Roberta Freeman and a host of cousins and friends. Interment was in Richard Grove Cemetery in Bellville. Active pallbearers included Robert Haynes, Marlon Ward, John Wayne Reese, Mircle Bryant, Michael Sanders and Robert Battle. Honorary pallbearers include Wesley Bryant Sr., Tim Bryant Sr., Allen Madison, Wesley Bryant Jr., Tracey Reese, Tyson Bryant, Derrick Madison, Bennie Bryant, Chad Gertman, Oscar Bellville, Andre Madison, Robert Bryant, Chris Walker and Mircle Sanders.
