Doleshal Armond ³Dolly² Emil Doleshal was born Dec. 21, 1908 in Nelsonville, the son of Emil and Minnie Hold Doleshal. He served his country in the United States Army from May 1942 until October 1945, also serving in World War II. On Nov. 20, 1954 Armond was united in marriage to Vivian Muery. They were members of the St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville, where he was a teller. Dolly was a life-long member of the VFW Post 6522. He also enjoyed gardening and playing golf when he was not working at the Baytown Oil Refinery as a pipe fitter supervisor. Armond passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007 in Brenham at the age of 98. He is survived by his wife of over 53 years Vivian Muery Doleshal of Brenham; nephews Maurice Newman and his wife Gail of Bellville, C.J. Newman and his wife Mary Jo of Bellville, Leslie Doleshal Jr. and his wife Virginia of Austin and Ronald Muery of Bellville,; nieces Lesia Schwarze and her husband Brad of Bellville, Sherrie Lehman and her husband David of Bellville, Pattie Burgess and her husband Paul of Sugar Land, Pam Goebel and her husband Lee of Bellville and Sue Krueger and her husband William of Brenham; sisters-in-law Dolores Loesch and Minerva Muery, both of Bellville and many other dear friends and relatives. Dolly was preceded in death by his parents and brother Leslie Doleshal Sr. Funeral service was at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Jennie Jones and Pastor David Henske officiating. Interment was in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Leslie Doleshal Jr., Zachary Doleshal, Ronald Muery, Lindsay Doleshal, William Krueger and Brad Schwarze. In lieu of usual remembrances, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the St. John Lutheran Church, 520 N. Holland, Bellville, Texas 77418. Schmidt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
