Corinne Kay (Ingram) Grinde of Cat Spring, 62, passed away after a gallant fight against cancer on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at home surrounded by family. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at St. John Lutheran Church of Cat Spring with the Rev. Kevin Haug officiating. Interment followed at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Cat Spring. She was born in Freeport, Illinois on May 7, 1945 to parents Forrest and Ida Ingram. She grew up and attended school in Warren, Illinois, graduating from Warren High School. In 1967, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Platteville, and was united in marriage with Ralph Grinde on June 15, 1968 in Apple River, Illinois. Corinne and Ralph lived in Apple River, Illinois; Lodi, Plateville and Cambridge, Wisconsin; San Antonio, Texas; Durrant, Oklahoma; and most recently, Cat Spring, where they have been members of St. John Lutheran Church. An active member of St. John's, Corinne enjoyed her church, music, sewing, crafts and cooking, and had worked as an English and Speech teacher. A devoted wife, she also loved being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of over 39 years: Ralph Grinde of Cat Spring; two daughters: Julie R. Grinde of Middleton, Wisconsin, and Donna R. Autobee and her husband, George, of La Coste, Texas; and grandchildren: Mia and Joseph Autobee, also of La Coste. She is also survived by her three brothers: Loren Ingram and his wife, Donna, of Harvard, Illinois; Duane Ingram and his wife, Mary Jo, of Rockford, Illinois; and Terry Ingram and his wife, Nancy, of Apple River, Illinois; and many other dear friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers included Mark Chapman, Otto Reichardt, Mark Sutton, Ron Waldrop, Rick Shilling and Bob Hartman. Honorary pallbearers were LeRoy Kulow and Chrles Thielemann.
