In Loving Memory of Lucille Harriet Bruen Gustafson, June 16, 1925 - April 21, 2007 Our beloved "Nanny" was born and grew up in Far Rockaway, Queens. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Theodore and Lucy Mott Bruen; her infant brother Clarence Theodore, Jr.:her son, William Frank Gustafson;and her beloved husband, Frank George Gustafson. She graduated from Far Rockaway High School and Katherine Gibbs School. During the war years, Lucille was employed by Miller Marine Shipping. While raising her three children, she worked for many years in the offices of Dr. Herbert H. Shey and subsequently, Dr. George Rivara. She was devoted to both of her employers. Nanny's family was her life. She enjoyed travel, family outings, trips to New Yrok for an occasional Broadway show, reading and crossword puzzles. Her home is filled with photographic memories of the precious times she shared with her family. She will be remembered as a gentle, kind and loving woman. She is survived by her two daughters, Marjorie Ellen and her husband Earl Pinho of Hauppauge, N.Y. and Barbara Diane and Ernie Koy of Kenney. As well as, 6 grandchildren, Tara Pinho and her husband Richard Alexander; Keri Pinho and her husband Andy Steitz; Robert Koy and his wife, Barbie, Andy Koy and his wife Izzy, Lucy Koy and Jess Koy. She also has 5 great grandchildren, Emma Alexander, Benjamin and Cullen Steitz, and Buck and Catie Koy. She was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of two more great grandchildren.
