Hammack Michael Allen Hammack, 53, of Brenham, died Sept. 14, 2007, near Chappell Hill. Mr. Hammack was born Nov. 12, 1954, in Bellville, Austin County, Texas, to Robert Westernman and Geraldine (McDaniel) Hammack. He was baptized at First Baptist Church of Bellville. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, collecting antiques and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Western movies. Mr. Hammack was a machinist at Dril-Quip. Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Garry and Jody Hammack of Navasota and Tracy and Lynette Hammack of Brenham; niece, Teresa Hammack; and nephews, J.R. Hammack, Steve Hohlt and John Hohlt. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Chaplain Gary Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. Pallbearers will be J.R. Hammack, Steve Hohlt, John Hohlt, Tommy Krupala, Harper Luedecke and Roger Hohlt. Honorary pallbearer will be Loyd Bland. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
