Hering
Ernest William Hering, 78 years, of Sealy  died on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 in
Katy.
Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at
Sealy Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Anderson Officiating.
Earnest was born in the Cleveland Community near Sealy, the son of Gus and
Julia Bischoff Hering.
He was raised in Sealy and graduated from Sealy High School. Ernest married
Bernetta Hinze on March 20, 1951 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy. He was
a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Ernest was a farmer and also worked for
Virnau Tractor for many years.
He is survived by his wife Bernetta Hering of Sealy, daughters, Jean Hering
and Debbie Hering both of Sealy, brother and sisters-in-law, Earl and Rose
Hering and sister and brother-in-law, Ernestine and Henry Schneider all of
Sealy, grandchildren, Tina Cass, Gena Gentry and Jason Gentry,
great-grandchildren, Brittany, Christan and Nathan Lorfing, Dillon and Kyle
Cass.
He was preceded in death by parents, Gus and Julia Hering, daughter, Janis
Faye Hering and sister, Gladys Belote.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Knesek Bros. Funeral
Chapel in Sealy.
