Bellville Times

William Johnson of Lumberton, Texas and formerly of Bellville, died Nov. 2
at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Houston.
William, 63, was born June 19, 1944. He graduated from Bellville High School
in 1962 where he was active in all sports.
He was a junior letterman on the 1960 state finalist Brahma football team.
William served in the United States Army.
His professional career since 1970 was spent in the Beaumont area as an
oilfield salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia of Lumberton; three daughters, Monica
Llanes of Houston, Ashley Thibodeaux of Lumberton and Alex Barclay Wilson of
Fort Worth; one son, Chet Schneider of Bellville; brothers, Tommy Johnson of
Nacogdoches and Craig Johnson of Fulshear; sister, Tajuana Frazier of Sealy;
nine grandchildren; family and friends.
A Memorial Service was held on Nov. 6 at Broussard's Mortuary Chapel,
Beaumont, following cremation.
Memorial donations may be to charity of choice.
