Kroll
Melvin Albert "Buddy" Kroll, age 75 of Hempstead, passed away on March 1,
2007.
Mr. Kroll was born March 4, 1931 in Washington County and was baptized as an
infant on April 25, 1931 at his mother's graveside at Emmanuel Lutheran
Church in Greenvine. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Emmanuel
Lutheran by Pastor Roy Grote.
He married Robbie Faye Siptak on July 21, 1962 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church
in Greenvine with Pastor Saeger officiating.
Mr. Kroll is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and    Frieda
Beckermann Kroll; and sister, Bernell Meier; and is survived by his wife of
44 years, Bobbie Faye Kroll; sons, Darrell Kroll and wife Tiffiny of Waller,
Dale Kroll of Hempstead, and Keith Kroll and wife Jeannie of Brenham;
daughter, Tracy White and husband Shannon  of  Waller; grandchildren, Brook
and Victoria Kroll, Justin and Dallas White, and Audra Kroll; sister, Willie
Mae Meyer of  Giddings;   brother, Quindell Kroll and wife Jean of Brenham;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Floyd and Nina Jean Siptak of Navasota and
Carl Meier of Brenham, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Known as Daddy, Pop and PoPo, Mr. Kroll loved gardening, fishing, and
spending  time  with  his grandchildren. He enjoyed baseball, and he loved
the Tennessee Titans football team.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church
of Greenvine or Hospice Brazos Valley - Brenham division.
Visitation was Saturday, March 3, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Canon Funeral Home
Chapel. Funeral services were Sunday, March 4, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel
Lutheran Church of Greenvine with Pastor Pam Werrell officiating.
Interment followed at Greenvine Lutheran Cemetery. (Video Tributes & Service
