Funeral Services for Bennie Kutra, 67, of Frydek were held on Friday,
October 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev.
Erie Pitre celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal.
Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Sealy. Serving as
pallbearers were Eric Zapalac, Adam Zapalac, Craig Kutra, Daron Kutra,
Johnny Coleman, Jr., Harvey Stavinoha, Jr., Earl Stavinoha, Jr. and Eric
Stavinoha.
Bennie was born in Sealy to parents Willie, Sr. and Frances (Sliva) Kutra.
Bennie was a 1959 graduate of Sealy High School. He was a member of the
United States Air Force Reserves. Bennie worked at Cameron Iron as a Pipe
Grinder.
On June 24,1961 Mr. Benjamin Kutra was joined in marriage to the former Miss
Vernell Stavinoha with a ceremony held in Frydek.
He was member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the K.J.T. in Frydek.
Bennie Kutra passed away Monday, October 15,2007 in Sealy, Texas.
Bennie is survived by his wife, Vernell Kutra of Sealy, daughter, Terri
Tomlinson and husband Chuck of Sealy, son, Bennie Kutra, Jr. and wife Carrie
of Sealy, sisters, Doris Sodolak and husband Albert of Frydek and Helen Mele
and husband Tom of Spring, brother, Willie Kutra, Jr. and wife Deloris of
Sealy, grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlin Tomlinson and Skyler Kutra.
Preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Frances Kutra.
