Bellville Times

Mary Ireatha Malone was born May 31, 1917 in Clyde, Ohio, the daughter of
Clarence and lola Cullen Armstrong. She grew up and attended school in
Sandusky, Ohio.
Mary was united in marriage in 1936 with Martin Malone in Sandusky. In
September 1960, they moved and made their home in California with son James,
joining their daughter, Trish.
Mary and Martin celebrated 56 years of marriage, when he passed away in
1992.
In the early years, she loved listening to talk radio and spending time with
Trish and Jim. Mary and Trish moved to Texas on Jan. 18, 2007, to be closer
to her grandson, Mike and his wife, Shawnda, and great granddaughter,
Briegette.
The love of Mary's life was spending time with her family.
Mary passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at the age of 89 in Bellville.
She is survived by her daughter Trish Kirchmann of Bellville; son Jim Malone
and his wife, Cheryl, of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; grandson Mike Kirchmann
and his wife Shawnda of Cat Spring; granddaughter Dawn of Toledo, Ohio; god
daughter Debbie Fetters and her husband, Jeff of Mission Viejo, Calif. and 4
great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Iola Cullen
Armstrong; husband martin Malone; 3 brothers, Clayton, Carl "Bud" and John
"Jack."
Memorial service was 4 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 from Christian Faith
Church in Bellville with Pastor Lynn Burling officiating.
