Funeral services for Rudy Ernest Stuchly, Sr., 85, of Sealy, were held Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. form Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with the Rev. Eddie Winkler officiating. Interment was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Sealy. Pallbearers serving were Kenny Stuchly, Nicholas, Christopher and Richy Hughlett, Ryan and Joey Stuchly. Born in Schulenburg, Rudy was the son of Rudolph R. and Agnes (Masoch) Stuchly. He was raised in St. John and attended school in Ammansville. Rudy Ernest Stuchly Sr. married the former Miss Tillie Rosenauer on September 27, 1948 with ceremony held in Holman. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He owned and managed Rudy's Restaurant in Weimar for 20 years and Sealy for 10 years at Key Truck Stop. Rudy was a member of Weimar VFW and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rudy Ernest Stuchly Sr. died Friday, may 11, 2007 in Katy. Her is survived by his wife Tillie Stuchly of Sealy, his daughters Mary Hughlett and husband Rich of Houston, sons Rudy Stuchly Jr., and wife Carol of Sealy, Donnie Stuchly and wife Geneva of Sealy, grandchildren Nickolas, Christopher, Richy and Kimberly Hughlett, Ryan, Joey and Amanda Stuchly, sisters Adele Hermis of Schulenburg, Lydia Jasek of Weimar and brother Ermin Stuchly and wife Ovella of Schulenburg. Preceded in death by his parents Rudolph R. and Agnes Stuchly, sister Griswold and Ann Sullivan. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy. Posted by Joy Neely
