Bellville Times

Mrs. Julia Mae (Warner) Thompson was born Friday, Oct. 22, 1915 to the late
Mr. Louis Warner and Mrs. Ann Dotson Warner in Bellville.
She was the last of 13 children born to her parents. Ms. Julia attended
Spicer School in Bellville. She was very active and highly respected in the
Bellville community.
Ms. Julia married Mr. Roy Thompson (Mr. Sonny) on Sunday, Oct. 21, 1956 in
Bellville and remained devoted and committed to him until his passing on
March 6, 2006.
Ms. Julia was divinely blessed. She passed on her blessings by giving to
others and gave willingly of her time and resources, especially to those in
need.
To her family, Ms. Julia was affectionately known as Aunt Julia and she
genuinely loved her folks. She was always there to encourage and support her
loved ones. Her life will perpetually be a lasting legacy that will bless
generations to come.
We, the family of the late Mrs. Julia Mae (Warner) Thompson wish to express
our sincere thanks and appreciation to the many friends who have been so
thoughtful in their expressions of sympathy during this time of great
sorrow. Your many kind acts shall always be remembered with grateful hearts.
