Wooten Mr. Terry Wooten, 61, of Navasota passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota with the Rev. Ed Bishop officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel. Mr. Wooten was born April 2, 1946, in Winnsboro, Texas to Henry Ervin and Charlene Pilkington Wooten. Mr. Wooten was an avid sports fan as he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, and Nascar. He was also a lifelong supporter of the Bellville Brahmas athletic department. Despite his love for sports, Mr. Wootenıs favorite endearment was his family. He is survived by his mother, Charlene Wooten of Brenham; daughter, Terri Lynn Wooten of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney Ervin and Pamela Wooten of Houston, and Shawn Henry and Becca Wooten of San Marcos; grandchildren, Stephen Burns, Jr. and Madison Jones; niece, Amber Wooten; and nephews, Robbie and Lance Wooten. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ervin Wooten and brother, Ronnie Keith Wooten. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
