Funeral services for Mr. Herman Otto Beyer, 72, were held Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. from the Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Home Chapel in Bellville with Rev. William Rotter officiating. Burial was in Oak Knoll Cemetery.
Pallbearers were J. B. "Jiggs" Helwig, Charles Swallow, Waldo Wehring, Frank Cheely, O. D. Kluna and Edmund Froelich.
Mr. Beyer was born Dec. 9, 1918 in Bellville to parents Frank and Minnie (Sontag) Beyer. He was raised in Bellville and attended Bellville Public schools.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and also was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: one brother, Werner Lee Beyer of Beaumont.
