Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie K. Neumann, 85, of Bellville were held Tuesday, September 21, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. from the Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel in Bellville with Rev. Willie Rotter officiating. Interment was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service were Tim Moore, Mark, Reed, Wilbert Wendt, Sr., Lance Staehli, Charles Miller and Joe Eugene Miller.
The former Miss Minnie Katherine Miller was born on September 6, 1908 in Buckhorn to parents Joseph and Theresa Schmitt Miller. She was raised in the Kenney area attending school at the Sempronious Public School.
On February 14, 1934, she married Herman Neumann in St. Paul Lutheran Church at Phillipsburg and was a homemaker. Mrs. Neumann was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellville.
She died Saturday, September 18, 1993 in a local nursing home. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Theresa Clemons of Channelview and Nora and R. E. Mills of Houston, Sister, Annie Wiese of Kenney and sister-in-law Opal Koldenhovan, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters, and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held under the direction of the Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel of Bellville.
