Funeral services for Mrs. Clara (Granny) Wiktorik, 91, of Bellville were held Thursday, May 6,
1993 at 2 p.m. from the Bellville United Methodist Church with Rev. Buford Finley officiating.
Interment was in the Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Newman, Jerry Wiktorik, Gary Wiktorik, II, Neil Wendt, Jr., Bruce Wendt and Rick Wendt.
Honorary pallbearers were John Dyer, Jimmy Meissner, Bryan Bailey, David Bailey, Mark Pfeffer,
David Pfeffer, Jake Brenner and Jeb Brenner.
The former Miss Clara Marie Pfeffer was born on January 1, 1902 in Kenney to parents Charles
Fritz and Johanna Dahse Pfeffer. She was raised and attended school in Kenney and later
married Joe Wiktorik on February 18, 1930 in Nelsonville.
Mrs. Wiktorik was a homemaker and a member of the Bellville United Methodist Church,
the Joy Sunday School Class of the church and Bellville American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Wiktorik died Monday, May 3, 1993 in a local nursing home.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Etta Mae and Eugene Himly of Sealy, and Rose
and Henry Newman of Bellville; sons and daughter-in-law, Otto and Dottie Wiktorik
of Bellville and Joe Wiktorik of Bellville; sister, Martha Dahse of Kenney; brothers,
Johnny Pfeffer of Bellville, Jake Pfeffer of Bellville and Phillip Pfeffer of Kenney,
eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Johanna Pfeffer; husband, Joe Wiktorik;
sister, Ella Schaare; and brothers, Charlie, Arnold, Walter and Ed Pfeffer.
Funeral services were under the direction of the Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel of Bellville.
