Graveside services for Frances Pfeffer, 85, of Bellville, Texas, were held at 5 p.m.
Monday, June 9, 1996 at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville with the Rev. Ann Ward officiating.
Interment was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery.
The former Miss Frances Ryan was born on Nov. 5, 1910 in McLennan County, near Waco, Texas.
She was the daughter of William and Marie Spencer Ryan.
She was raised in Bloomington, Mo. and graduated from a Houston high school and
Sam Houston State Teachers College.
On Oct. 23, 1953 she married Mr. John Phillip Pfeffer in Houston, Texas.
Frances Pfeffer was a member of the Houston Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday school there and was a life-long homemaker.
Frances Pfeffer died Sunday, June 9, 1996 at her home in Bellville.
She is survived by her husband John Phillip Pfeffer of Bellville, sisters-in-law
Martha Dahse of Kenney and Manilla Pfeffer of Bellville, brother-in-law, Jacob Pfeffer,
also of Bellville, and close friend Helen Kostas of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Marie Spencer Ryan and her first husband, Walter Loose.
Graveside services were held under the direction of Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel in Bellville.
