April 8, 1999 Page 4 Funeral services for Royce (Double B) Hartwick, 61, of Cat Spring, Texas were held on Sunday, April 4, 1999 at 3 p.m. at the Hartwick residence in Cat Spring with Mr. Bob Scogin officiating. Interment was at the Hartwick Family Cemetery in Cat Spring. Serving as pallbearers for the service were John Streckfuss, Brian Bell, Scott Tolke, Scott Buehler, Louis Resendez and Allen Zak. He was born Royce Raymond Hartwick on February 18, 1938 in Peach Orchard, Missouri to parents Sherman Hartwick and Essie Pearl Megee Hartwick. He was raised in Peach Orchard and attended school there. On October 3, 1956 he married the former Miss Joyce Franks in Peach Orchard. Mr. Hartwick was the owner/operator of a sand and gravel truck business. Royce (Double B) Hartwick died Thursday, Arpil 1, 1999 in Smithville, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hartwick of Cat Spring; daughter, Vicky Joyce Hartwick Lopez and husband, Vincent of Cat Spring; son, Dennis Miles Hartwick of Cat Spring; sister, Hildaree Cameron of Peach Orchard, Missouri; grandchildren, Stephanie Joyce Jones, Adam Blake Lopez, and Joshua Miles Hartwick. He was preceded in death by his parents: Sherman and Essie Pearl Hartwick; sisters, Peggy Emmons, and Evalee Burton; and brother, Kermitt Hartwick.
