.My Great-Great-Great Grandmother is buried in Mount Vernon Cemetery located in Calvert, Robertson,Texas. She moved there from Weakley County, Tennessee shortly after her husbands death John Parish in 1834.
With her son Isham and 3 of her daughters, Elizabeth (Hodge), Eliza E.(Gallaway) remarried to ( Young E. Gray or Grey in 1846), and Mary Ann (Calhaun) leaving 5 children in Tennessee, one being son Henderson, my Great-Great Grandfather.
Im still looking for info on all she did in Texas. I have a manuscript of her last will & testament where she personally appeared in open court on July 15, 1861. It was probated in June 27, 1864 with J.A. Turner Court Clerk. As she could neither read or write it
also last witness to the document as being her final wishes.
