Directions:  From San Augustine take FM 1277 cross State Hwy 103, continue on FM 1277 to FM 2923.  Turn right and travel one mile.  Turn right on dirt road and travel one-half mile.  The cemetery is on the left.

There is one grave marked with part of a monument with a ginger-bread fence around it.  The only thing that can be read on this monument is "Eliza".  the footstone has the initials E.A.R.F.; This is believed to be Elizabeth Sowell Fox.  The graves of U.S. and Mary Martha Carswell Fox are marked with a pole arbor with a tin roof.  There is a wire fence around a baby's grave located at the head of Eliza Sowell Fox's grave.  The number of persons buried here cannot be determined.  It is thought that three children of U.N. and Mary Sowell Martin are buried in the cemetery.
