MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral Services for Mr. Curtis Eugene "Hoots" Taylor will be held Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. Brother Bob Latham will officiate the services. The family will receive friends Friday, January 8th, 2010 at the funeral home from 5 PM to 7 PM.

Hoots was born January 13, 1921 in DeSoto Parish to Jewel Guy Taylor and Ella Irene (Rogers) Taylor and entered into rest on January 6, 2010 at Willis-Knighton North in Shreveport, LA. Hoots was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Preceding Mr. Taylor in death were his parents; his wife, Jannie Richmond Taylor; sister, Kathryn Foster and brother, Jewel Taylor. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Gaye Granthan and her husband, Robert of Longview, TX and Bonita Carol Broyles of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Stacy Sapp and Jennifer Moore; great-granddaughter; Addison Sapp.

Honoring Hoots as Pallbearers will be Robert Grantham, Bubba English, Harvey Allen, Donnie Bell, Shane Bell and J. Riley Bell. Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath
