St. Paul is north of Pelican about 2 miles just off Hwy. 175 on the Old
Hwy. 175 loop. There is no longer a church on the site. Many years ago

I am Mr.Fred Neal's granddaughter DeShander, I would like to share this information you all Fred's mother was Jane Hyams of the Hyams family who had a fair amount of slaves .Her name is misspelled on both her headstone and his death cerfticate. HEADSTONE STATES HYMES THIS IS WRONG , according to the 1910 census she was a mulutto and so was the whole family. Shander raptessy17@yahoo.com
