Burns Cemetery

Location: Near Oak Hill. Go north on Hwy 36 and turn left off FM 159. Go west to Oak Hill and turn south on Sycamore Crossing and when you come to Macat Ranch #2 entrance; enter, the cemetery is on your right past the barn.

Also buried in an unmarked grave in this cemetery is Ransom's son Daniel Cornelius Burns. Daniel died from a fall from a horse near Barclay, Texas in about 1895. Burns family settled at Oak Hill (near Nelsonville) prior to census of 1850. Contact Fred Burns faburns102637@windstream.net
