Wammel Hill Cemetery

Burial(s) are off FM 2429 about 2.5 miles from Hwy 36 South from Bellville, on The Otto Severin estate property. Family information indicates that the grave of Franz Von Wamel is on the property, but the exact location is unknown. Family history also indicates the possibility that Karoline Wilhelmine Wilharm von Wamel, wife of Franz was also buried there with her son and baby daughter. Karoline gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. She and the baby girl died in 1859.
