Austin County, Texas

James Herring Internment List

James Herring has personally seen most of these graves (especially those located on private property) while he served as the Austin County cemetery preservation official. He maintains a spreadsheet of the graves and has provided for inclusion on the website. We are very gratefull to James for the work he has done and allowing us to provide his results here.

Pages in this section are not complete per his list and will be updated as time permits; however, all the interments are located in the GenFolks online database. My initial focus for this section is the smaller cemeteries and grave sites because the data may not be available elsewhere on the internet.

Grave markers and tombstones may have less information than researchers have discovered and provided on this website.
