The information was provided by Charles Sharp, owner of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Clark-Downs started selling caskets in their hardware store and then providing funeral services for San Augustine and surrounding counties. The funeral home was sold to Wyman Roberts in 1946. History provided by daughter of Herman Clark, owner. The information was transcribed as written. (AA) has been added to indicate African American cemeteries.
