Some marriages occurred on that day and some occurred days or even weeks later. For complete accuracy, the original volume and page should be consulted. Contact the Austin County Courthouse for copies of original license and actual marriage dates.
Column abbreviations are Vol. (Volume), Mo. (Month). A separate “FMC” column indicates the applicants were “Free Man of Color” or “Free Woman of Color”. Most of these entries were found in Volumes E and F.
