James Harold Yarber, 81, husband of Barbara (Bains) Yarber, died Oct. 9, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services were scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 504 E. Strauss St., Bellville. Burial took place in the National Cemetery in Nelsonville. Rev. Mike Criner and Rev. Ronnie Yarber will officiate. Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Saturday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
James Harold Yarber was born July 11, 1933 in Kosse, Texas to John Jackson and Pearlie (Gideon) Yarber. James served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Missouri during the Korean War.
Baptized in 1953 at the Faith Memorial Baptist Church in Houston, he married Barbara Bains in Houston on Oct. 8, 1954.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Bellville, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bellville. Bleiblerville was home for the family for over 48 years. James was employed as a machinist by TFE for 38 years until his retirement. James enjoyed woodcarving and helped start the Woodcarvers Guild of Texas. He treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Barbara of Bellville; daughters Belinda Ozuna of Taylor; Theresa Schulz and husband Randy of College Station, and Debra Makowsky and husband Kennneth of Brenham; grandchildren Chris Ozuna and wife Lisa, and Sarah Ozuna; great-grandchilden- Atreyu Daniel Ozuna, and Madison Gonzalez; sister Ruth Ann Saladiner of Houston, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ross Yarber, and a sister, Mary Zell Skinner.
Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church in Bellville.

Clarence Otto Young son of Jacob J. and Aster E. (Siegert) Young. Clarence Otto Young married Lorene Lucile Huebner. Clarnece Otto Young married Margaret Kenjura,his second wife and she preceded him in death.
Clarence was educated in Ives Creek Schools in Austin County.He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
Mr.Young owned Peoples Dry Cleaners and he later worked for Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Mr.Young passed away in Trinity Medical Center.
A graveside service was held for Clarence Otto Young,83,Sunday October 24,2004 at 2-00 p.m. with Pastor Virgil Pecht officiating.
The family received visitors Saturday October 23,2004 at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 2-00 p.m. to 4-00 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Trinity Medical Center.

Fred "Freddie" Earl Young, Jr passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 60 after fighting a courageous battle against Glioblastoma. He was born on November 8, 1962, in Eagle Lake, Texas, and was a graduate of Rice High School Class of 1981.
Fred was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest without worry. His mantra was, "It will be alright"! He was happiest when he was outdoors, whether he was driving for Pagel Trucking or riding a tractor on the prairie for Fossil Farms and Gertson Farms. He also enjoyed spending time at deer camp with friends and going to South Texas. Fred was a loving family man that will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his daughter, Brittany LeAnn Young, and fiance Brazos King; brothers James Young and John Young; and wife Jeanne, Joe Mike Young, and wife Theresa; and sisters, Frances Leopold and husband Mark and Elizabeth Young. Nephews and nieces Kent Frick, Lauren Frick Benton, Logan Young, and wife Briana and great niece Drew, Allyssa Young, Christopher Young, Austin Young, Matthew, and wife Madison Young, and Kendall Young.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Young, and his sister, Mary Katherine Young Frick. Visitation begins at 1-00 pm Friday, January 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek, Texas, with a Rosary recited at 1-30 pm and Funeral Mass at 2-00 pm. Graveside services will take place at a later date.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Young, Austin Young, Matthew Young, Logan Young, Daryl Pagel, and Nicholas Pagel. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Cook, Billy Cook, Kenny Korenek, Bobby and Melanie Marsalia, Joseph Marsalia, Curtis Rose, Barry Shepard, Jr, and Ryan Zickuhr.
